Accomplishments/Successes regarding serving individuals with disabilities:
Michael Dunn Center Work Programs employs more than 100 people with disabilities or disadvantages. As a result, MDC was presented with an award from the Division of Intellectual Disabilities for being the largest provider of jobs for individuals with disabilities in East Tennessee. MDC Work Programs was awarded the Recycler of the Year in the non-profit category by the Tennessee Recycling Coalition, as a result of our Curbside Recycling, Secure Document Destruction and other recycling services. My goal is to provide a job for anyone who wants to work, regardless of a disability that would otherwise be considered a barrier. MDC Work Programs continues to grow and thrive, thanks to a wonderful team of people whom I am privileged to work with, whom share my enthusiasm and commitment to providing work for people with disabilities.

Any other information you would like to provide:
I cannot think of another profession that is more gratifying. I love coming in to work each day to see smiling faces of the service recipients. It warms my heart to hear people thank me for helping them get a job or to be successful in their lives.
