The Michael Dunn Center offers many career opportunities. We have positions including Direct Support Professionals, Nurses, Therapists, Drivers, Case Managers, Supervisors, etc. for all educational and skill levels. You can serve your community and help people with disabilities reach their goals and lead more independent lives.
We offer opportunities for advancement and often promote internally. We provide paid training for care-giving and life-saving skills. We have very flexible scheduling offering full and part time employment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We have 8 and 16-hour shifts in the day, evening, weekends, and midnights. Our pay schedule is bi-weekly. We have convenient locations all over Roane County with more than 20 work sites.
We offer a generous benefit package which includes health insurance with available vision and dental; no-cost life insurance for all full-time employees with optional family coverage; and an available 403(b) retirement plan that matches 100% of your contribution up to 3% of your income; paid time off (PTO), and a no-cost Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Requirements for Employment
Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.
All positions require proof of successful completion of high school (Diploma) or equivalence (GED)
Pre-employment background checks, including work history, personal references, motor vehicle history, and criminal history will be researched for all potential employees.
Employment will be contingent upon results of drug/alcohol testing.
Most positions require the employee to have a current valid Tennessee driver’s license and to have held a valid driver’s license for three (3) years.
